Park Bo-gum (born June 16, 1993 in Seoul ) is a South Korean actor .

Life

Park was born in 1993 as the youngest of three siblings. While in high school he applied to talent agencies to become a singer. However, over time he increasingly devoted himself to acting. He enrolled in the Faculty of Film and Music at Myungji University . He made his acting debut in 2011 in the thriller Blind .

He got other supporting roles in the thriller A Hard Day (2014), which was invited to the Cannes Film Festival , and the historical epic The Admiral - Roaring Currents (2014), which is still the most successful film at South Korea's box office. He became very popular through his subsequent leading roles in the television series Cantabile Tomorrow (2014), Reply 1988 (2015) and Love in the Moonlight (2016).
