The Parkinson peak is 690 m high and pyramidal mountain near the northern coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It is located in the north-central part of the Wilson Hills and overlooks an area of mountain ridges that formed the watershed between the Tomilin and Noll glaciers .
The mountain was visited in March by an air-assisted crew led by Australian polar explorer Phillip Law as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions . It is named after the Australian geophysicist Wilfred Dudley Parkinson (1919–2001), a participant in the research trip.
