The Tomilin Glacier ( Russian Гедник Томилина Lednik Tomilina ) is an approximately 25 km long glacier on the Oates coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It flows north from Pope Mountain in the center of the Wilson Hills and flows east of the Goodman Hills and Cape Kinsey in the form of a glacier tongue into the Somow Sea .
The area was photographed during Operation Highjump (1946–1947) in 1947 and during the Second Soviet Antarctic Expedition (1956–1958) in 1958. It was named by the latter after the Soviet pilot Mikhail N. Tomilin (1908–1952), who died in the Arctic .
