    The Parliament of La Rioja ( Spanish Parlamento de La Rioja ) is the autonomous unicameral parliament of La Rioja , one of the autonomous communities of Spain . The parliament, consisting of 33 elected seats, is located in the former La Merced monastery in Logroño , the capital of La Rioja. In the parliamentary elections in Rioja in 2011, the People's Party (PP) won the majority with 20 seats. It lost its majority in the 2015 parliamentary elections in Riojan, dropped to 15 seats, and was forced to rely on C's MPs abstention to continue as a minority government.
