The Parmulina are a genus of unicellular , wired amoeba . It includes four species and belongs to the Microcoryciidae family .
features
In the side view, representatives of the Parmulina are hemispherical. They are laterally compressed, seen from the side of the mouth egg-shaped. The pseudostom (the opening of the mouth) is slit-shaped.
The clear, translucent housings are flexible and chitin-like, with debris embedded in them. False feet are rarely formed and are almost lobed. The endoplasm is granular. The cell nucleus is of the vesicular type, i.e. it contains only one nucleus .
ecology
Parmulina are herbivores, they live in mosses on trees.

The genus was first described by Eugène Penard in 1902 , the type species is Parmulina cyathus . The genus includes four species including:
