Rudolf Parnigoni

Rudolf Parnigoni (born February 26, 1948 in Gmünd , Lower Austria ) is a former Austrian politician of the Social Democratic Party ( SPÖ ). From May 19, 1983 to October 27, 2008, he was a member of the Austrian National Council .

Life

Rudolf Parnigoni learned the profession after completing compulsory schooling Kaufmann . In his second education, he completed the social academy of the Chamber for Workers and Salaried Employees in Vienna . In 1968 he joined the Chamber of Labor for Lower Austria as a clerk for youth protection. From 1975 to 1991 he was district secretary of the Austrian Federation of Trade Unions and at the same time also a member of the municipal council of the city of Gmünd, where he was also deputy mayor from 1980 to 1984. Since 1991 he was department head of the Chamber for Workers and Salaried Employees for Lower Austria, district party chairman of the SPÖ Gmünd, deputy state party chairman of the SPÖ Lower Austria and member of the federal party executive of the SPÖ.

Parnigoni is married and has two children.
