Parti socialiste autonome du Sud du Jura

The Parti socialiste autonome du Sud du Jura (PSA-SJ, in the media mostly short PSA ) is a separatist political group in the Bernese Jura . It is affiliated to the Social Democratic Party of the Canton of Jura as a section and, in addition to the Parti Socialiste du Jura bernois (PSJB) affiliated to the Bern SP as a section, forms one of the two active sections of the SP in the Bern Jura.

The president is Maxime Zuber , the former mayor of Moutier . Jean-Pierre Aellen , Mayor of Tavannes and President of the Conseil du Jura Bernois , is also a member of the PSA.

In the 2014–2018 term of office, the PSA has three seats in the Grand Council of the Canton of Bern , in which 12 seats are reserved for the Bernese Jura. In the 24-seat Conseil du Jura Bernois , it has four members. Between 1979 and 1983 she also held a seat on the National Council with Jean-Claude Crevoisier .
