The Partido do Desenvolvimento Popular ( German  People's Party of Development ; tetum Partidu ba Dezenvolvimentu Populár ) PDP is a political party in East Timor . The party's president is António Ma Brille Ai Tanan . General Secretary is Augusto Maubuti .

history

The PDP was founded in 2012.

In the parliamentary elections on July 7, 2012 , she failed to pass the three percent hurdle with 0.40% (1,904 votes). In no district did the PDP achieve 1% of the votes.

In the 2017 parliamentary elections , the PDP received 0.37% and thus failed to pass the four percent hurdle. Then the PDP joined the Fórum Demokrátiku Nasionál (FDN).
