Partidul România Unită

The Partidul România Unită (PRU; Party of United Romania) is a small Romanian right-wing extremist party . It was officially founded on April 23, 2015 by the Bogdan Diaconu (formerly Social Democratic Party PSD and Conservative Party PC) as well as Horațiu Șerb, Vasile Vlasin and Valerian Moraru (formerly the Greater Romania Party PRM).

At the national level, the PRU is part of the Blocul Identităţii Naţionale în Europa alliance , which was founded in 2017 and which also includes the PRM and the Noua Dreaptă (ND). However, the alliance did not run for the 2019 European elections as planned . At the European level, like the ND, the PRU has been a member of the right-wing extremist Alliance for Peace and Freedom (APF) since 2018 . Contacts with APF chairman Roberto Fiore and the Polish right-wing extremist Mateusz Piskorski already existed when the company was founded .

Program

Central elements of the party program are social justice , economic protectionism , nationalism and the fight against corruption . In 2015, the PRU passed a resolution against the EU quotas for the distribution of refugees, same-sex marriage , the introduction of the euro in Romania and the TTIP agreement. She calls for Romania to leave NATO and the EU immediately .

In the 2016 parliamentary election , the PRU received 2.95% of the votes in the Senate election and 2.70% of the votes in the Chamber of Deputies election.

In the 2019 European elections , the PRU received 0.57% of the vote.
