Parwin Hadinia

Parwin Hadinia (* 1965 in Basel ) is a Swiss - Iranian dancer and choreographer . Her mother is Swiss and her father is from Iran .

After completing her education at the Musikgymnasium in Münchenstein , Hadinia attended various dance schools abroad. a. in New York (with Martha Graham , Ruth Currier and Milton Meyers ) and in London at the London Contemporary Dance School . From 1984 she taught for five years at the Ankara State Theater as a dance teacher, which was followed by further engagements as a dancer in Prague and Tehran . Hadinia worked as a dancer in various TV productions for SF DRS and in Turkey as well as in the 700th anniversary of the Swiss Confederation .

In 1996 she founded her own dance company, the Parwin Hadinia Dance Company , with which she has since performed in Switzerland, Turkey, the Czech Republic and Iran. In 2002 Hadinia appeared at the State Theater Tehran and at the Theater Basel alongside the Knabenkantorei Basel . She is fluent in German, English, Persian and Turkish.
