Pascal Gaigne (born June 25, 1958 in Caen , France ) is a French composer .

Life

Pascal Gaigne studied music with Guy Maneveau at the University of Pau and then with Bertrand Dubedout at the Conservatoire à rayonnement régional de Toulouse . He has lived in Donostia-San Sebastián, Spain , since 1985 and has worked as a composer for radio, theater and Spanish film ever since. He was responsible for the music of feature films such as The Giraffe's Neck , dark blue branch black and castles in the air . He has been nominated twice for the prestigious Spanish film award Goya . For the best film song he received in 2012 a nomination for Verbo in the same fantasy film Verbo . His music for the drama Loreak received a 2015 nomination for best film music .
