The Paso Del Solar ( Spanish , in Argentina Paso Ocampo ) is a strait off the Danco coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . In Wilhelmina Bay , it separates Nansen Island from Enterprise Island . The middle of this strait is occupied by Bearing Island . It leads from the northwest of Wilhelmina Bay to Foyn Harbor .
Chilean scientists named it after Raúl del Solar Grove, head of the Chilean Naval Academy from 1960 to 1962 and participant in the 17th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1962–1963). The namesake of the Argentine name has not been passed down.
