Pasquale Muto
Pasquale Muto (born May 24, 1980 in Naples ) is a former Italian cyclist .
Pasquale Muto began his career in autumn 2003 as a stagiaire at Ceramiche Panaria-Fiordo , where he also won the one-day race Ruota d'Oro . From 2004 he drove for the Italian team Miche . In 2005 he was fourth at the Grand Prix of the Canton of Aargau , and in 2006 he was second at the Trofeo Matteotti . In the 2007 season, Muto came third in the Marco Pantani Memorial and won a stage in the Tour of Bulgaria .
As announced by the Italian Olympic Committee on May 24, 2011, Muto tested positive for the illegal use of the blood doping agent EPO during the 2011 Apennine Tour . He ended his cycling career with it.
