Path of No Return is a Swedish hardcore and metalcore band from Örebro that was formed in 2001.
history
The band was founded in spring 2001 by drummer Martin Jacobson, bassist Adam Holmkvist, guitarist Daniel Cederborg and singer Adam Hector. Over the next three years the band worked on a few songs and released the first four demos during this period. After that, the band released their first EP Death Is Promised in 2004 on Unity Is All Records . This was followed by a split release with The Change that same year . The band then recorded their self-titled debut album in Uppsala , which was released in late March 2005 on GSR Records . At the time of release, the band was touring Europe with Crowbar . After that the band continued the tour with Knuckledust and No Turning Back until May. In 2007 the second album The Absinthe Dreams was released on Epitaph Records and Burning Heart Records .

The band plays a mix of metalcore and classic hardcore, the music being comparable to that of Refused .
