Patricia Díaz Perea (born February 22, 1984 in Lanzarote ) is a former Spanish triathlete .

Career

From 2006 to 2011 she was a member of the Spanish national triathlon team. In June 2008, the 24-year-old Patricia Díaz was fourth in the triathlon at the University World Cup in Turkey. In 2009 she was declared the best female university athlete (Major deportista individual Feminina universitaria 2009) by the Consejo Superior de Deporte .

She belongs to the high-performance DAN (Deportistas de alto Nidel) and was a member of the Spanish national team from 2006 to 2011.

In Spain Patricia Díaz competes for the Lanzarote-based club Club Triatlón Titanes . From 2006 to 2015 she won the Canarian Triathlon Championships ten times in a row. Patricia Díaz studies sports and movement sciences at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria . It has not appeared internationally since 2015. She works as a coach with "Runniung Girls".
