Patricia Janečková (born June 18, 1998 in Münchberg , Germany ) is a Slovak singer ( soprano ).

Life

Patricia Janečková was born in Germany to Slovak parents. When she was three months old, her parents moved with her to Ostrava in the Czech Republic , where she grew up and still lives today.

She was already fascinated by opera as a child and was a member of the Opera Studio of the Antonín Dvořák Theater in Ostrava. In December 2010, Patricia Janečková won in the soprano vocal range, the Czech-Slovak talent show Talentmania . In 2011 she released her debut album together with the composer, conductor and producer Oskar Rózsa. In 2014 she was the youngest participant to win first prize at the Sacred Music International Competition in Rome. In November 2017 she had her first significant role as Galatea in Handel's Acis and Galatea .
