Patricia Lowin

Patricia Lowin (born March 30, 1972 ) is a speaker at the Mainz Carnival . Her appearances as "Emanze", "Politesse", "Loreley", "Patros, the Greek goddess" or "Turkish woman Ayse" became known nationwide on television.

The dentist gave her first lecture at the Gonsenheim Carneval Association in 1993 , to which she remained connected as a handicraft speaker until 2001. In this, her first major television appearance took place as a speaker in the television carnival community meeting Mainz, Mainz remains as it sings and laughs . As early as 1996, Lowin was awarded the «AZ-Jokus» of the Allgemeine Zeitung (Mainz) as a handicraft speaker. After a break from 2001, Lowin has been back in the Bütt since 2008, now with the Flörsheim Carneval Association .

Lowins received special media attention in 2012 on ARD in the context of the show Frankfurt Helau , which was shown as a 10-minute carnival appearance as Ayşe from Turkey. The state advisory board for foreigners spoke of "racism at prime time" and demanded an apology from the Hessischer Rundfunk . This did not take place.
