Patricia Alber

Patricia Alber (* 8. April 1988 in Linz as Patricia Reisinger ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and student. Alber was a member of the Upper Austrian state parliament from 2009 to 2015 .

Life

Alber attended elementary and secondary school in Helfenberg between 1994 and 2002 and then graduated from HBLW in Rohrbach in Upper Austria from 2002 to 2007 , which she completed with the Matura. In September 2008 Alber began studying product marketing and project management at the Wiener Neustadt University of Applied Sciences on the Wieselburg campus, and has been studying law at the Johannes Kepler University Linz since September 2009 . Alber was already involved in the Catholic youth and young VPs during her school days, with the latter joining in 2003. She was elected to the district board of JVP Rohrbach in 2005 and took over the position of district chairman in 2008. Since 2009 she has been the JVP district chairwoman, and on October 23, 2009 she was also sworn in as a member of the state parliament in Upper Austria. From 2005 to 2008 Reisinger worked for the Catholic youth and from 2007 to 2008 a member of the parish council of the parish of Helfenberg.

After the state elections in Upper Austria in 2015 , Alber left the state parliament.

Alber was influenced politically by her parents, whereby her father, a teacher at the agricultural school in Kirchschlag near Linz , was active as an ÖVP councilor in Helfenberg for some time. In 2011 she married the lawyer Bernd Alber, and in 2013 she had a daughter.
