Patrick Addai
Patrick K. Addai (* 1969 in Accra , Ghana ) is a Ghanaian children's author and actor .
Life
Addai initially studied economics in Linz as well as sociology and political science in Salzburg , but then came to the Children's Theater in Linz, where he worked as an actor for several years. He came to writing through school and kindergarten visits where he was a cultural advisor and told stories from his African homeland. His books also contain stories from Africa and are intended to make African culture known in Europe. Addai earned a master's degree in cultural management from the University of Vienna .
Since he could not find a publisher who wanted to publish his books, he founded the Adinkra publishing house . Addai is committed to Welthungerhilfe as a cultural ambassador . He lives in Leonding near Linz.
