Patrick Allotey (born September 13 or December 13, 1978 in Accra , † June 27, 2007 there ) was a Ghanaian football player .

Allotey was in 1995 in Ecuador with the team Ghana's U-17 world champion. He was noticed by European scouts . In 1996 he moved to Feyenoord Rotterdam . Here he played in his first year as a professional only twice in the first team and was awarded the Feyenoordschen lower class farm team Excelsior Rotterdam in the following season . There, too, he only played seven games. The following season he moved back to Feyenoord and stayed with the club until 2001, but made only three league games.

Allotey died on June 27, 2007 in Accra. The cause of death is heart failure.
