Patrick Biagioli
Patrick Biagioli (born July 1, 1967 ) is a Swiss tenor singer , actor, musical performer and director.
Life
Growing up mostly in French-speaking Switzerland, Patrick Biagioli received his acting training from the Zurich Acting Association.
He became known to the Swiss and German audiences in particular through his interpretation of Roboto in the successful musical Space Dream , a role in which more than 350,000 spectators saw him and which took him not only to Baden and Winterthur, but also to Berlin.
He first gained international attention in 2003 in the opening production of the Thunerseespiele , where he played the role of Che in Evita in front of more than 40,000 spectators . He then embodied this role in Liechtenstein, among others.
In 2003 and 2004 he appeared in the large musical theater in Basel as Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar and as Steven in the German premiere of the musical Dracula alongside Ethan Freeman and Florian Schneider.
In the successful Liechtenstein production of Dracula , the artist not only played Steven again, but also attracted attention as a director. He made his directorial debut in Lucerne in 2000 with the musical BE DE LÜT .
Numerous other leading roles in musical productions in Switzerland and Liechtenstein followed. He was on stage in the title role of the musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and as Matt in The Fantasticks .
The tenor has also made a name for himself as an operetta singer. He has already appeared as Jan Janicki in Der Bettelstudent , as Armand Brissard in Der Graf von Luxemburg , as Gardefeu in Pariser Leben , as Benozzo in Gasparone , as Fragoletto in Die Banditen , as Adam in Der Vogelhandler , as Josef in Wiener Blut , as Piquillo in La Pericole , as Frederic in Pirates of Penzance or as Pappacoda in One Night in Venice .
Patrick Biagioli is married and lives with his wife and son in Adliswil near Zurich.

In addition to his work as a stage actor, Patrick Biagioli also works as a singing teacher and coach for actors and musical performers. Since 2006 he has headed the SAMTS (StageArt Musical & Theater School) he founded in Adliswil, a part-time professional training and further education facility for musical performers and actors in Switzerland.
