Patrick Fritz-Benzing
Patrick Fritz-Benzing (* 1977 ) is a German church musician .
He is district cantor of the Archdiocese of Freiburg and cantor at the cath. City Church St. Stephan in Karlsruhe . In addition, he is responsible as an organ expert for the dean's office in Karlsruhe and teaches an organ class at the Heidelberg University of Church Music .
Career
Patrick Fritz-Benzing studied church music (A-exam) and organ in Freiburg and Amsterdam. His formative teachers include in particular Zsigmond Szathmáry and Jacques van Oortmerssen . The scholarship holder of the German National Academic Foundation was the winner of several international organ competitions.
As a conductor he performed a large part of the current oratorio repertoire with the Karlsruher Stephanschor.
