Patrick Labaune (born June 13, 1951 in Paris ) is a French politician . He was a member of the National Assembly from 1993 to 1997 and has been a member of the National Assembly since 2002 .

Life

Labaune completed an economics degree at the Institut d'études politiques in Grenoble and then worked as a teacher. In the parliamentary elections in 1993 he ran for the RPR in the first constituency of the Département Drôme and was elected with 58.4% in the second ballot. In 1995 he was also elected mayor of the city of Valence . In the 1997 parliamentary elections , he joined for re-election, failed in the second round but with 49.96% of votes at the Green Michèle Rivasi . He returned to the National Assembly in 2002 and was re-elected in 2007 and 2012. In the regional elections in 2010, he also managed to move into theRegional Council of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Region .
