Patrick Manning (rower)
Patrick "Pat" Francis Manning Jr. (born June 5, 1967 in Poughkeepsie , New York ) is a former American rower .
The 1.90 m tall Patrick Manning took fourth place with eighth at the 1989 World Championships . The following year he rowed in the four-man without a helmsman , with which he finished ninth at the 1990 World Championships . In 1991 the four-man with Thomas Bohrer , Patrick Manning, Jeffrey McLaughlin and Michael Porterfield won the silver medal at the 1991 World Championships behind the Australians and ahead of the German four-man. With Douglas Burden for Porterfield, Bohrer, Manning and McLaughlin took second place behind the Australians at the 1992 Olympic Games , while the Slovenes received bronze. Manning rowed his last international regatta at the 1994 World Championships in Indianapolis , and Thomas Bohrer and Manning took eighth place in the two-man without helmsman .
