Patrick Melton
Patrick Melton (born June 18, 1975 in Champaign , Illinois ) is an American screenwriter .
Life
Melton and his colleague Marcus Dunstan have been active as a screenwriter in the field of horror films since 2005 . Together, the two were responsible for the Feast responsible trilogy and wrote from Saw IV from 2007 the scripts of all the other part of the Saw film series .
Melton wrote the script for his directorial debut The Collector from 2009 with Dunstan and also worked on its sequel The Collection (2012).
With the novel Black Light , the two made their debut as novelists together in 2011. Melton was involved in the story for the film Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark (2019) in the Dark
