At the beginning of the film, the viewer learns that the US government has developed a weapon that they must first test on "us" before they can test it on enemies. After that, the presentation of the characters begins in a bar. Name, special talents and expected life expectancy of each person are given.

Then suddenly the blood-drenched hero bursts in. In his hand he holds the head of a monster that, together with others, has attacked him and his wife. He warns people, but does not hear enough. When a smaller monster soon intrudes into the bar and immediately kills Hero and another visitor, those who remain take action. The monster is first caught and locked in a freezer, later it is killed. From now on, Heroine takes control. Plans are made for survival.

A short time after the first attack, the second follows. A little boy is being eaten by one of the big monsters. In addition, “The Loser” is infected with a disease that causes maggots to crawl out of his body. It is decided to scare the monsters by displaying the carcass of the first monster killed. However, this turns out to be a bad idea as it turns out to be the child of a monster family. At first dismayed by the death, "Mama Monster" eats the dead boy and then has sexual intercourse with "Papa Monster", in which three new boys are born only a short time later.

The visitors to the bar decide to build a bomb to distract the monsters, while one of them fetches a vehicle to save the others. The bomb, consisting of fuse and spray cans, is attached to a supposed corpse and detonated. As expected, the explosion causes confusion. One of the women runs to the getaway car, a truck, but drives off alone in it and thus saves her life. Then the monsters attack and reveal their true colors, because before they could only be seen in disguise and with masks. After a fight, all of the monsters and all but four of the humans appear to have been killed. Three of them flee in a car. Another woman hid in the cold room of the bar before the fight. Only after everyone has fled does she leave her hiding place and is attacked, and it becomes clear that one of the monsters has survived.
