Navi Rawat

Navi Rawat (* 5. June 1977 in Malibu , California , as Navlata Rawat ) is an American actress .

Life

The daughter of the German Claudia Littmann and the Indian Shri Raja Ji Rawat grew up in Miami . Her mother is the daughter of the then Frankfurt Police President Gerhard Littmann and his wife Ursula. After finishing school, Navi Rawat began studying at the Tisch School of the Arts , a famous center for music, theater, directing and stage training at New York University .

On television, Rawat is best known for supporting Theresa Diaz in OC, California and as Amita Ramanujan in a major role on Numbers . She also has a small role as Melanie in six episodes of the first season of the real-time series 24 .

In 2003, Rawat starred in Thought Crimes , which was originally conceived as a pilot for a television series . In it she plays Freya McAllister , a girl who can hear the thoughts of others and thus prevents crimes. She had another leading role in the 2005 horror film Feast .

She has been married to Brawley Nolte since 2012 .
