Balthazar Getty
Paul Balthazar Getty (born January 22, 1975 in Los Angeles ) is an American actor and musician .
Life
Getty is the son of the heir John Paul Getty III and his German wife Gisela Getty as well as a great-grandson of the oil tycoon J. Paul Getty . He grew up in San Francisco . At the age of twelve years, Balthazar was discovered at school by a talent scout and to audition for the film adaptation of the novel of the Flies Lord invited. Although he actually had no ambitions to become an actor, he was cast in the lead role of young Ralph.
With his friend Shon Greenblatt, he founded a production company and produced the thriller Shadow Hours (2000) and various music videos. Getty is a member of the band Ringside , known in Germany for the song Tired of Being Sorry .
In May 2000, Getty married fashion designer Rosetta Millington and has a son and three daughters with her. The couple temporarily split after intimate photos of Getty and actress Sienna Miller emerged in public in July 2008 . Getty was addicted to heroin for years.
