Duane Whitaker (born June 23, 1959 in Abilene , Texas ) is an American actor , screenwriter and acting teacher.

Life

Whitaker took his first steps in Hollywood on the theater stage and made a few appearances on various television series. He made his television debut in 1986 in the series Sledge Hammer! . This was followed by appearances in 9 to 5 , LA Law - Star Lawyers, Tricks, Litigation , Mr. Belvedere and SideKicks - Karate Kid & Co, as well as guest appearances in Throb and An Angel on Earth .

In 1988 he made his first appearance in a film with Hobgoblins . In the following years, he starred in a number of better-known film and television productions, including in Pulp Fiction by Quentin Tarantino . In 1998 he made his directorial debut on Together and Alone , a film he also wrote and edited.

He revived the collaboration Tarantino in 1999 in From Dusk Till Dawn 2 - Texas Blood Money . It was produced by Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez , and Whitaker also co-wrote the script.

In 2004 he made a guest appearance on the Medical Investigation series, and in 2005 he starred in Rob Zombies The Devil's Rejects and the horror comedy Feast . He also worked with Rob Zombie on Halloween II in 2009 and had an appearance in Cold Case in the same year - No victim is ever forgotten . In 2012 he shot Bad Ass with Danny Trejo and Ron Perlman .
