Patrick Schelling (born May 1, 1990 ) is a Swiss cyclist . He lives in Rüti.

Career

Patrick Schelling finished second in the one-day race Chur-Arosa in 2010. At the end of the season he rode for the Continental Team Price-Custom Bikes as a stagiaire , where he was recommended for a contract for the following season. In his first year with the team, Schelling was third in the U23 road race of the Swiss championship and he won the one-day race Martigny-Mauvoisin. At the Summer Universiade 2011 in Shenzhen , he won the silver medal in the road race behind his compatriot Bernhard Oberholzer .

From 2013 to 2015 Schellinger rode for the UCI WorldTeam IAM Cycling . After he was under contract with the Vorarlberg Santic team from 2016 to 2019 , he again switched to a WorldTeam, the Israel Start-Up Nation team, for the 2020 season .
