The Patscher Bach is a brook in the Austrian municipality of St. Jakob in Defereggen in the Tyrolean district of Lienz .

The Patscher Bach rises at the head of the Patscher Valley between Ohrenspitzen , Barmer Spitze , Fenneregg and Rosshorn . It runs in an easterly direction through the Patscher valley and takes up the Seeblbach on the left after about halfway. In the lower reaches of the Patscher Bach falls down a wooded gorge before flowing south of the Patscher Hut into the Schwarzach . The upper course of the Patscher Bach shows a high natural area potential specific to the river.
