from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Patty Ryan (born May 6, 1961 in Wuppertal ) is a singer who is best known for her Europop songs.

Career

Ryan started in the music business with the rockabilly formation Susi & the Rockets , which also appeared in the ZDF hit parade in 1981 with the title This house is not a train station (German version of Sweet Lolita by the British rockabilly band Matchbox ).

From 1986 Ryan changed her style, which from there resembled that of Modern Talking , London Boys and Bad Boys Blue (on a few occasions she also worked directly with Dieter Bohlen ). Ryan's best known song is You're My Love, You're My Life . She also sings hits Stay With Me Tonight , Love is the Name of the Game and I Don't Wanna Lose You Tonight (all from her debut album Love is the Name of the Game ). Some of their songs on their debut album are very similar to Modern Talking's, such as: B. You're My Love, You're My Life (You're My Heart, You're My Soul), and I'm Feeling So Blue (There's Too Much Blue In Missing You). The song Chinese Eyes is even based on melodies from You're My Heart, You're My Soul . Ryan also sang the hit Touch My Heart , also sung by Danuta Lato .

Ryan's latest releases are the maxi singles Without Doubt (2004), I Gave You All My Love , Du bist Frei and Let me have my fun from 2005, the CD compilation All The Best (Otre-Media) from 2006, and the maxi CD Wind in Open Hair (2011).
