Life
According to the “official” biography, Danuta was born in the Polish village of Szufnarowa , trained as a kindergarten teacher and was discovered by a German when she was around 21 years old.
Her first photo series appeared in the 10/1984 issue of the German Penthouse , which triggered a career as a topless model with publications all over Europe. This ended in 1988/1989. During this time there was an official fan club in Zapfendorf near Bamberg.
Danuta also worked with moderate success as an actress , u. a. 1985 in the German Klamotte three and a half portions with Jürgen Hingsen and Karl Dall , a small episode role in the crime series Ein Fall für Zwei and in 1988 alongside Ulrich Tukur in the quite successful comedy Felix .
She also tried a career as a singer in the late 1980s . Her disco song Touch my heart from 1987, which was also released as a picture disc by the music publisher ZYX-Records, reached u. a. Number 1 in the Spanish and Polish charts. In Spain, where she was very successful, further music productions followed with the music publisher DIVUCSA, Barcelona, including the disco song For your Love in the Spanish top ten. Danuta Lato had numerous television appearances in Barcelona, Madrid and La Coruña. She was also invited several times to TVE Madrid for the TV show La Bola de Cristal by Javier Gurruchaga (who has a status in Spain like Thomas Gottschalk in German-speaking countries ). At that time she was present in the entire Spanish tabloid press, also appeared in Spanish Playboy and Lui as a cover girl and even the daily newspapers El País , Diario 16 and Ultima Hora devoted her article. There were also joint appearances with their then competitors, the Italian Sabrina Salerno and the British Samantha Fox , who were known as the three most famous singing glamor models of the 1980s. A CD called Hot Girls-Danuta-Sabrina-Samantha was released by the music publisher Divucsa Barcelona - cd-5237. In Germany, however, she failed to achieve any appreciable success. In 1990 she was briefly presented in the first edition of the ZDF hit parade moderated by Uwe Hübner ; no further appearances on German television are known.
In the early 1990s, Danuta withdrew from the public. She married a Pole who came from a neighboring village and has a daughter with him. She now lives separated from her husband.
