Danuta Lato , also known as Danuta (born November 25, 1963 (according to other sources 1965) in Poland ) is a Polish singer , actress and model from the 1980s .

Life

According to the “official” biography, Danuta was born in the Polish village of Szufnarowa , trained as a kindergarten teacher and was discovered by a German when she was around 21 years old.

Her first photo series appeared in the 10/1984 issue of the German Penthouse , which triggered a career as a topless model with publications all over Europe. This ended in 1988/1989. During this time there was an official fan club in Zapfendorf near Bamberg.

Danuta also worked with moderate success as an actress , u. a. 1985 in the German Klamotte three and a half portions with Jürgen Hingsen and Karl Dall , a small episode role in the crime series Ein Fall für Zwei and in 1988 alongside Ulrich Tukur in the quite successful comedy Felix .

She also tried a career as a singer in the late 1980s . Her disco song Touch my heart from 1987, which was also released as a picture disc by the music publisher ZYX-Records, reached u. a. Number 1 in the Spanish and Polish charts. In Spain, where she was very successful, further music productions followed with the music publisher DIVUCSA, Barcelona, ​​including the disco song For your Love in the Spanish top ten. Danuta Lato had numerous television appearances in Barcelona, ​​Madrid and La Coruña. She was also invited several times to TVE Madrid for the TV show La Bola de Cristal by Javier Gurruchaga (who has a status in Spain like Thomas Gottschalk in German-speaking countries ). At that time she was present in the entire Spanish tabloid press, also appeared in Spanish Playboy and Lui as a cover girl and even the daily newspapers El País , Diario 16 and Ultima Hora devoted her article. There were also joint appearances with their then competitors, the Italian Sabrina Salerno and the British Samantha Fox , who were known as the three most famous singing glamor models of the 1980s. A CD called Hot Girls-Danuta-Sabrina-Samantha was released by the music publisher Divucsa Barcelona - cd-5237. In Germany, however, she failed to achieve any appreciable success. In 1990 she was briefly presented in the first edition of the ZDF hit parade moderated by Uwe Hübner ; no further appearances on German television are known.

In the early 1990s, Danuta withdrew from the public. She married a Pole who came from a neighboring village and has a daughter with him. She now lives separated from her husband. She trained as a specialist trainer for rehabilitation at the University Clinic in Erlangen and works independently in rehabilitation in Erlangen and Bamberg .
