criticism

The album received positive reviews shortly after its release. The hip-hop magazine rap.de praises the fact that Hanybal addresses social grievances: “Hanybal takes a fundamentally socially critical position without becoming explicitly political. He illustrates grievances with relentless images on a hard drug dealer's sound. "

The e-zine Laut.de rated the red haram level with four out of a possible five points. From the editor's point of view, Marvin Müller, Hanybal channeled “ his pain and anger ” and “packed them into twenty tracks laden with drugs, violence and disaffected hopelessness. “On the other hand, he refrains from“ false promises or boring rum poses ”as well as“ ten-syllable rhymes. “Even the first piece Jag die Batzen describes the“ fascination with the rap phenomenon Hanybal very aptly. "So the" nerve- wracking timbre [...] the compact and expressive lines hit the beat with pinpoint accuracy , while Hany paints a three-dimensional picture for the listener in substantial language ". Following reality and headfucked , Messi Ronaldo offers “ lighter fare in the form of a melodic summer track. Kiffen Koksen Alken Ficken unfortunately creates little atmosphere because of a“ demanding techno beat [...]. “Also the“ irrepressible energy ”of Hanybal and Gzuz hardly emerges. The productions on the album are characterized by Müller as “ tailor-made boards ” over which Hanybal “fires his syllables somewhere between serene Weltschmerz and half- strong self-expression with surgical precision and playful ease ”.

In the hip-hop magazine Juice , the red haram level received a rating of four out of six possible “crowns”. According to editor Dominik Lippe, Hanybal followed the promising recipe of his mentor's arrest warrant with “ irrepressible energy and an unmistakable voice [...]. “The productions that carry the“ Azzlack seal of approval ”find praise . This is how the “ rousing dynamic of the 'Kiffen koksen alken ficken' carried by horns, bells and deep basses ”, the “ thunderstorms of synths and sirens in 'rocket' ” and the “ string carpet that is laid out in 'Kopfgefickt' and also a young one Bushido would have offered an adequately woven base ”, emphasized as an example. In terms of content, the rapper squinted “ in the direction of 'many colorful notes' ” and distributed “ drugs and broken ribs. “In reality, however, the asphalt tears up and reveals“ a sensitive mind under the harsh surface. "At the end of the album, Hanybal directed his focus with Fick die Welt and Brave New World on the" structural violence in this country, which in the world above all offers a lack of prospects and already seduces the youngsters into greed for money and consumerism. "
