Paul Aaron

Paul Aaron (born April 23, 1943 in Hoosick Falls , New York , USA) is a Canadian director and film producer .

Life

Paul Aaron's career as a director started out on Broadway. In early 1970 he directed the comedy Paris is out! at the Brooks Atkinson Theater . This was followed in 1971 at the Broadhurst Theater the musical 70, Girls, 70 with the music of John Kander . In 1972 the musical revue That's entertainment followed with music by Aaron Schwartz (1900–1984). After a long break on Broadway and the production of the two films A Different Story 1978 and A Force of One 1979, he returned to Broadway in 1981 with A Talent for Murder at the Biltmore Theater .

Aaron, a native of the United States , was the husband of Patricia Taylor and the stepfather of Keanu Reeves . The two met in New York in 1970 , but were only married six months. During their marriage, the family moved to Toronto, and Aaron became a Canadian citizen. However, he later worked again in Hollywood .
