Paul Berkenkopf

Paul Berkenkopf (born September 17, 1891 in Vlotho ; † December 15, 1962 in Cologne ) was a German economist .

Life

After receiving his doctorate in Münster in 1914 as Dr. phil. and to the Dr. rer. pole. 1924 in Hamburg and the habilitation in 1928 there (the reorganization of the German large iron industry since the currency stabilization) he taught there from 1928 to 1933 as a private lecturer in economics . In 1939 he was appointed full professor of economic political science at the University of Cologne .
