Paul Biberstein

Paul Biberstein (born February 25, 1600 in Leonberg ; buried on December 21, 1656 in Tübingen ) was a Württemberg Protestant theologian and rector of the University of Tübingen .

Paul Biberstein enrolled at the University of Tübingen on May 28, 1617, where he became a Baccalaureus on September 24, 1617 and a master's degree in 1619. From 1621 to 1626 he was a repetiteur at the Tübingen monastery . In 1626 he became second deacon in Göppingen and was first deacon there from 1627. From 1630 he became a pastor in Oberesslingen .

On April 1, 1652 he was named Prof. graec. and Prof. phil. appointed to the University of Tübingen. He was there from 1652 to 1656 Magister Domus. From May 1, 1655 to October 18, 1655 he was rector of the University of Tübingen .
