Paul Eggers

Paul Eggers (born June 20, 1888 in Rendsburg ; † September 19, 1939 there ) was a German businessman and politician (DNVP).

Live and act

Eggers attended the secondary school in Rendsburg. After graduating from high school, he completed a commercial apprenticeship in Hamburg, France and Great Britain from 1907 to 1909. From 1909 to 1912 he studied at the commercial college in Cologne. After taking his business degree in 1912, Eggers, who had been married since 1919, opened a factory in his hometown.

From 1924 to 1928 Eggers was a member of the German National People's Party (DNVP) for constituency 13 (Schleswig-Holstein) in the Reichstag . In addition, he was chairman of the Association for Trade, Crafts and Industry in Rendsburg.

During the National Socialist era , Eggers was temporarily held in custody for an alleged foreign exchange offense in 1936, but was acquitted. The NSDAP he joined on May 1, 1937th
