Paul Elmar Jöris

Paul Elmar Jöris (* 1950 in Aachen ) is a journalist and state political correspondent for the WDR radio station in Düsseldorf.

After studying political science, history, sociology and international technical-economic cooperation in Cologne and Aachen, Jöris worked as an editor at WDR. In 1999 he became defense policy correspondent and since 2003 has been state policy correspondent at the WDR radio station in Düsseldorf with a focus on domestic and judicial policy.

Since 2002 he has been a member of the Advisory Board for Inner Guidance .

He is the author of eight programs in the daily magazine “ Background ” on Deutschlandfunk .
