Pavel Fyodorowitsch Gorjaninow
Pawel Fjodorowitsch Gorjaninow ( Russian Павел Фёдорович Горянинов ; scientific transliteration Pavel Fëdorovič Gorjaninov ; * 1796 in Mahiljou ; † 1866 in Saint Petersburg ) was a Russian botanist . Its official botanical author's abbreviation is “ Horan. “Because in botanical works he also called himself Paul (Paulus) Fedorowitsch Horaninow (v) .
Works
In 1834 he wrote the work Primae lineae systematis naturae . In 1862 he wrote Prodromus Monographiae Scitaminarum .
Honors
The genus Horaninovia fish. et Mey. from the plant family of the Amaranthaceae has been named after him.
