Paul Fenech (born December 20, 1986 in Naxxar ) is a Maltese soccer player who mainly acts in midfield .
career
Fenech received his first professional contract with his hometown club FC Naxxar Lions . After just one year, at the age of 17, he moved to FC Msida Saint Joseph , where he was under contract for the following three seasons.
Fenech has been a regular at FC Birkirkara since summer 2007 and has also been a national player since 2009 .
His most successful season so far was the 2012/13 season , in which he won the championship with FC Birkirkara and was also voted Footballer of the Year in Malta .
During the 2015/16 winter break, Fenech moved to league rivals FC Balzan .
