Paul Gambaccini
Paul Gambaccini (born April 2, 1949 in New York ) is a British author and radio presenter .
Life
Gambaccini studied history at Dartmouth College and politics, philosophy and economics at Oxford University . After completing his studies, he worked as a radio presenter on the British radio station BBC Radio 1 from 1973 . In 1995 he switched to the British radio station BBC Radio 3 as a radio presenter . He also worked for the radio station BBC Radio 4 in the cultural sector for many years . As an author he wrote several books. His subject areas as an author include the British charts and the Eurovision Song Contest . Gambaccini has been openly gay since the 1980s .
