Paul Birthig (born September 18, 1896 in Fellhammer , Waldenburg district , † unknown) was a German politician (NSDAP).

Live and act

Born attended elementary school . He then completed an apprenticeship as a locksmith. From 1915 to 1919 he took part in the First World War. From 1919 to 1927 he worked as a fitter in the mining industry. In 1927 he switched to the service of the Silesian electricity works, where he was employed in the Waldenburg department.

In the 1920s he became a member of the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSDAP). In July 1932 , Birthig was elected to the Reichstag as his party's candidate for constituency 7 (Breslau) , to which he was a member until March 29, 1936. The most important parliamentary event that fell during the time of the Member of Natal was the passing of the Enabling Act in March 1933, which was also passed with his vote. In 1936, Birthig ran again for the Reichstag, but received no more mandate.

In February 1933, Birthig asked Hitler to speak to him in the interest of restarting the Wenceslaugrube in Mölke near Neurode, which had been closed in 1930 . In the year of the " seizure of power ", Birthig was appointed section leader of the NSDAP for the County of Glatz in Glatz. He also got married that year.
