After he was promoted to the ice hockey Bundesliga with ESV Kaufbeuren, no contract offer was presented to him and he went to TSV Peißenberg for the next season within the league . From 1992 to 1997 he was a player in the Nürnberg Ice Tigers (263 games / 352 points scorer for 187 goals / 165 assists), for which he played in the 2nd ice hockey league until 1994 and then in the German ice hockey league. In 1997 he moved to EV Landshut, finally to the Kassel Huskies, where he ended his career at the end of the 1997/98 season.
In the DEL he played a total of 203 games in which he scored 170 points scorer (78 goals / 92 assists). Geddes played several times internationally for the Canadian national ice hockey team .
