Paul Heinrich balm
Paul Heinrich Balsam (born November 13, 1827 in Hirschberg ; † August 25, 1881 in Stettin ) was a German high school teacher and math historian .
From 1847 Balsam was a teacher at the Marienstiftsgymnasium in Stettin. From 1866 to 1881 he worked in Stettin as a paid city councilor and city school council . He emerged through the first German adaptation of the work About conic sections by the ancient mathematician Apollonios von Perge .
