Paul Iorgovici (born April 28, 1764 ; † 1808 ) was a Romanian writer from the Banat .

He studied in Vienna . At the beginning of the 1790s he wanted to publish a newspaper in Romanian with Ioan Piuariu-Molnar in Vienna. In 1799 he brought out in Buda Observații de limbă rumâneasca (Commentaries on the Romanian language), a first Romanian grammar.
