Paul Kutscher

Paul Alexander Kutscher Belgeri (born May 11, 1977 in Germany ) is a Uruguayan swimmer.

The 1.85 meter tall Paul Kutscher is the brother of the swimmer Martín Kutscher . Paul Kutscher was part of the Uruguayan squad at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney and the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens . There he started in the 50 meter and 100 meter freestyle in 2000 and on the 100 meter freestyle course in 2004. However, he failed in the preliminary stages. Kutscher was also part of the Uruguayan team at the Pan American Games in 2003 and 2007 . Kutscher is also the holder of two Uruguayan national records . With his participation, the 4 × 100-meter freestyle relay (July 17, 2007; 03: 21.06 minutes) and the 4 × 100-meter individual relay relay (March 15, 2008; 03: 50.00 minutes ) the current (as of October 31, 2011) valid Uruguayan records in this discipline. Kutscher also started for the Bundesliga team of VfL Sindelfingen . In 2007 he was German champion with the 4 × 100 m individual medley relay. He repeated this success in 2008 with the 4 × 100 meter freestyle relay. From around 2009 until at least June 2012 he was the head coach of the Swiss swimming club Meilen .
