Paul L. Schuett

Paul L. Schütt (* 1956 ) is a German jazz trombonist, composer, author and educator.

Career

Schütt studied at the State University for Music and Performing Arts Mannheim and played for many years as a permanent member of the SWR Big Band (SDR) Stuttgart. Teaching assignments at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and at the state-recognized music academy for jazz and popular music FMW Frankfurt followed. He has been teaching music at the Integrated Comprehensive School Rockenhausen since the second state examination for the (high school teaching post) .

Schütt also played with the hr-Bigband , NDR Bigband , RIAS Big Band Berlin , with Dieter Reith , Max Greger (Junior and Senior), Paul Kuhn and Peter Herbolzheimer . He has been leading the TC Big Band since 1996 . He also publishes specialist books.
