Paul Looser (born May 9, 1981 ) is a Swiss cyclist .

Career

Paul Looser began his career at RMV Altdorf . In 1992, together with Christian Wälchli, he won his first bronze medal at the Swiss championship for pupils B. In the following years he won several SM medals with Christian Wälchli and Daniel Tresch without ever becoming Swiss champions. In 2000 he finished second in National League B together with Christian Wälchli and was promoted to National League A. In the following year he moved to RV Winterthur and from then on guarded Peter Jiricek's gate . Paul Looser was enormously successful in the four years in Winterthur. He became world champion , won the European Cup twice and was Swiss champion three times.

Then he switched back to RMV Altdorf and played with Dominik Planzer for three years . During this time he won the Swiss Cup twice but was no longer Swiss champion. He ended his career at the end of the 2007 season.

After Dominik Planzer ended his active career in 2017, Paul Looser will make his comeback in 2018 and play together with Roman Schneider for Altdorf cycling .
