The 2003 Cycling World Cup was the second edition of the Cycling World Cup organized by the UCI . The tournament series began on April 5, 2003 and ended on February 7, 2004 on the occasion of the World Cup finals in Ailingen . A total of 30 teams took part, but only 16 of them played in at least 3 tournaments and thus had the opportunity to reach the final.
The World Cup winner was Team Favorit Brno 2 from the Czech Republic.
World Cup points are awarded for each World Cup tournament. After all seven tournaments, the points for each team are added up and the seven teams with the most points go to the final. A team from Asia also plays in the final .

The score only decides which teams get into the final. In the final, however, all teams had exactly the same chances of winning.
This table only lists the teams up to and including the last team that played at least 3 tournaments. The teams with a yellow background are qualified for the final.
The eight teams were divided into 2 groups. Within this group everyone played against everyone once. The winners of the two groups then played against the runner-up in the other group. The other teams played against the team from the other group on the same rank. The two losers from the semi-finals then played for third place, the two winners for the World Cup victory.
